CITY TAX ABATEMENT PROGRAMS

Purchase or build a new home or make home improvements on your existing residence in the City of Pittsburgh, and your Allegheny County, City of Pittsburgh and District School taxes can be abated for three years. If your home is located within a Targeted Growth Zone*, your City of Pittsburgh and School District taxes can be abated for up to 10 years after the property is reassessed. more >

Mexican War Streets House and Garden Tour

Pittsburgh's oldest and finest house tour! Self-guided walking tour of homes and gardens in the Mexcan War Streets historic district on Pittsburgh's Northside. Also featuring restoration specialists, vendors and refresments. Tickets can be purchased online at www.mexicanwarstreets.org

In celebration of Stephen Foster's birthday, we will have four folk bands, specializing in Stephen Foster era music, educational tours of Allegheny Cemetery (including Foster's burial place), costumed re-enactors and other outdoor activities. On hand will be food vendors and other organization tables.
