Located in the heart of the North Side, California-Kirkbride is close to educational centers, libraries, business districts and service centers.
It is also adjacent to other business districts in Allegheny Center Mall and North Avenue, so anything that's needed is just a quick bus ride away. Allegheny Commons Park is a space where young children gather to play and parents congregate to talk.
California-Kirkbride's residents are laying the foundation for a promising future. An engaged citizen organization, Northside Coalition for Fair Housing, is working to develop the housing stock and create homeownership opportunities for the neighborhood's residents.
